About me - Counsellor in Tunbridge Wells
"To him who is in fear, everything rustles." Sophocles
Authenticity, love, passion and integrity underpin the state of contentment to which we all long for, aspire and deserve.
When our lives lack these components we lose our joy, and fear and discontent are the biproducts.
These are reflected in a variety of conditions - anxiety, depression, addictions and varying degrees of dysfunctional thinking and behaviours and even illness.
Having undergone therapy myself I am confident that the counselling process can be life - changing.
My personal background in education has always involved working with people and my interest in psychology developed as I worked with children and families in crisis.
A degree in Psychology gave me the basis to study further. A post - graduate qualification in counselling/psychotherapy (accredited by the BACP) has given me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of men, women and adolescents from all walks of life.
My approach to counselling is based on an integrative framework, with a cognitive bias. All interventions are personalised and adapted to the needs of the client.
